BMSBIZ
Presents Art Brokerage Business.
Art is a lucrative business worth billions of dollars. Art is a common feature in every household and is appreciated by almost everyone in some form. It's an enjoyable and highly profitable industry. Art can be sold directly to end users or to retailers who then sell it to the end consumers. ( you become a wholesaler)
We specialize in selling primary canvas art as canvas wrap pieces, which you can see in the sample photos provided. Most buyers prefer canvas over framed art. While we do sell framed art as well, it is twice as expensive as canvas wrap art. For instance, a 16 x 20 canvas wrap costs around $30.00 wholesale, while a framed art piece of the same size would cost around $65.00 wholesale.
As a BMSBIZ Broker, there are no restrictions on where you can sell the art. And you never pay for shipping for art sent directly to you. However, we offer drop shipping to your buyers and there is a shipping fee.
- 1. Sell the art on your website or on other websites, such as Etsy, eBay, Amazon, Poshmark, Mercari, and many more. We will drop ship the item for you within five business days.
- 2. Sell the art to retailers with no restrictions. I used to think only those who sold related items would be a prospect for selling to. Like furniture stores or art galleries and such. I have found that just about any store would be a prospect for our art, as we have such a huge selection of prints, nearly 1000 choices.
A gift shop, for instance, became a buyer when they saw our collection of hummingbird art. A novelty shop selling collectibles buys our vintage poster art.
A religious bookstore buys Jesus and Mary Small 11 x 14 Canvas prints. So, you see, there is art for every type of business; those who thought they would never sell art now become our best buyers.
3 Selling art at trade shows and fairs can be very lucrative. For instance, home shows are a great opportunity, and almost every city hosts one or more. In Phoenix, we have ten home shows each year. Surprisingly, we also exhibits at gun shows annually, where we sell all our Western art, such as prints of Tombstone and Lonesome Dove. Our western art, featuring Gunsmoke, Doc Holliday, and more, is especially popular at these shows and they are our most profitable events. The best part is the cost to exhibit, in most cases around 100 to 150 dollars for gun shows. We always ask for a wall space at all shows, so we can display the art on metal display stands. Note, home shows can run much higher. We aim to participate in as many local art fairs as possible and gun shows; that is where the big profits are as the exhibit fees are so low. Guns shows provide you with an eight-foot table space. We utlilze the table they give us as well. Selling a variety of item. You will have access to our complete line of over 5000 wholesale items on the BMSIBIZ.com store.
4 Most fairs are outside shows, so you will need to buy a pop-up tent.
5 Our setup usually involves a 10 x 10 pop-up tent where we display a wide variety of art pieces. We bring different items to these shows, enabling us to sell a diverse range of products. A truck or SVU is required to bring the items to the show and you need tobring the metal stands. For instance, a 16 x 20 canvas piece that costs you $30 can retail for $79, resulting in substantial profits. In Phoenix, we have four shows that collectively draw over 500,000 visitors. Our last show generated sales of over $6000.00, resulting in approximately $4000 in profits from print sales for a three-day show. It's important to note that physical fitness is necessary for setting up these shows, so having a helper can be beneficial.
Selling at car shows: WOW, we have over 100 prints of all the classic muscle cars that sell like crazy. Keep your eyes open for shows everywhere. They are the hidden gems of profit. So my point is to keep your eyes open for shows. There are so many different types. In fact, we display at one show here at a college parking lot that sells car stuff of every kind. Not cars but car items. Everything you can think of, from seat covers to auto parts. With huge turnouts.
- 4. Drop shipping: If you sell online, there's no need to buy or store inventory. We handle production and shipping, usually within five business days via FedEx. All our art is made to order, so you'll receive brand-new pieces, not dusty ones from a warehouse or China."
- 5. Finally, Create your own art show. This requires a huge investment in art; you set up at a hotel and advertise it on cable TV only and in newspapers, calling it a Starving Artist type Sale of sorts. Come up with your own name for the show, As “starving artist “is a brand name, do not use it. An example might be “Artist Closeout art sale,” or “Fine Art Sale Closeouts - Nothing over $90.00, hundreds of choices.” This is a huge money-makingprogram. but requires over $15,000 to run a good show. Wait till you get rich and consider this one.
